Smoking Policy
This is a smoke-free conference. Smoking is not permitted in any of the meeting rooms, exhibition areas, or poster areas, including the registration area, restrooms, and hallways.
Insurance
Participants are advised to purchase health and accident insurance before traveling to the Conference. The event organizers cannot assume responsibility for personal injury or loss/damage to property of delegates or accompanying persons, whether during or as a result of the event or during excursions or their stay in Peru. Therefore, participants are strongly advised to obtain their own personal health, accident, and travel insurance.
Exhibition Hall
The spacious and well-located exhibition hall provides institutions and companies with the opportunity to showcase their activities, products, technology, and services.
Security
The safety of all Conference attendees is of utmost importance to the Local Organizing Committee. Standard international security precautions have been taken to ensure the highest possible level of safety. Please take all your personal belongings with you when leaving the session rooms.
The Conference organizers are not responsible for the loss or misplacement of personal items during the event. All attendees are advised to keep their belongings under close supervision.
Lost and Found
Lost and found items should be left at the Registration Desk.
Identification Badges
Your badge must be worn at all times, including during the official opening ceremony and welcome reception. Attendees without a badge will not be admitted to the academic sessions, the exhibit hall, or the poster area. A replacement badge will cost USD 50.
Speaker ready review room
Presenters can review, finalize, and submit their presentations at this office, located in the Nasca Room, second floor of the Swissôtel.
Speakers are required to arrive well in advance: at least 4 hours before the start of their session. If your presentation is early in the morning, presentations should be submitted the day before.
To avoid delays caused by computer changes in the session room and potential compatibility issues, the Organizing Committee will provide speakers with a standard A/V projection system. To ensure a smooth transition, speakers are requested not to connect their laptops to the room’s projector.
Local Currency
The sol is the official currency of Peru. Businesses accept all major credit cards. The exchange rate fluctuates slightly. Currently, the exchange rate is 3.30 soles per 1 US dollar. Participants have access to an ATM at the Swissôtel for cash withdrawals.
Electricity
Swissôtel has 120-volt and 220-volt electrical outlets.
Climate
The event will take place during the summer months, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 28º C.
Dress code
Casual wear is appropriate for academic sessions.

Setours is the official travel agency and will be available during the conference to assist all participants who wish to book city tours and other travel packages.
